I never fail to mention here in my blog how much I love jumpsuits, rompers and dresses, mainly because of the comfort I get from not having to think of what to pair with what, as seen in this post. When I’m in a hurry, I just slip it on and accessorize! This isn’t the case all the time though. Sometimes it can also be too plain and boring, but it can look a lot better with good styling. 🙂 Case in point, my jumpsuit below…
This is how this jumpsuit looks like when worn as is. Please don’t mind the shoes and the bag since I didn’t bother changing anymore. I used them in my other photos, which you will see later on. 😉
My problem with this jumpsuit? I honestly don’t like the fit. The ruffles of the tube top and the harem-like pants make me look big. The upper part of the pants is really loose, making it look like a harem pants (not too obvious in this photo because of my stance and the angle), but the bottom part is not tight enough! It’s like a pencil cut pants that has that baggy upper portion. I find the fit really odd that’s why I thought of doing this…
I made it look like a 2-piece outfit! 🙂 I used the garter of the pants to tuck in the bottom part of the tube top. Therefore, instead of letting the bottom part of the top fall on my waist, I tucked it inside the pants! I used a belt to hide the garter, and then folded the pants to make the bottom look tight and make it look like a harem pants. 🙂 Having done these, I still found my outfit incomplete when I looked at myself in front of the mirror. For some reason, I still look big. I then realized, it’s because of the big ruffles of my top. So to hide a bit of those ruffles, this is what I ended up wearing…
I simply put on a blazer to hide those big ruffles. Now, only a portion of it can be seen. 🙂 In fact, I love the outcome of the outfit! 🙂 What do you think? 😉 Camwhoring time… More photos of this outfit below! 🙂
