Leather, Tassels and Feathers- These are the accessories we’ve been seeing on runways, celebrities and fashion blogs. With the start of the warmer season, we just want to wear something light- and that goes for both clothes and accessories, right? Heavy metal bangles and accessories can be irritating when the sun is up and you start to perspire. The added weight on your arms and neck can make you feel more uncomfortable and uneasy. It doesn’t mean we have to keep all our accessories during this season though. Now that the cold months are over, it’s time to show a little more skin. Say goodbye to jackets and coats for now, which means accessories can be more visible! 😀 As a lovely alternative to heavy metal bangles and necklaces, why not try leather accessories with those tassels and feathers (the “in” thing right now)? They’re light and comfy to wear! I don’t end up removing them despite the terrible heat of the sun here in Manila. 🙂 It makes me look chic and fab the entire day, even if I’m just wearing a plain loose tee. 🙂
The leather bracelet is from H&M, which I got last year in Shanghai. It comes in several colors- black, brown, blue, orange, etc. When I saw it, I didn’t have to think twice. It’s very much like Bottega’s bracelet at an affordable price. If I’m not mistaken, it’s only about PHP 250 when converted to Philippine Pesos. I’m not sure though if it’s still available in all other H&M outlets, but I still saw it in H&M Harajuku Tokyo last week. 🙂
Another great find from my recent trip in Tokyo (I know, I still owe you guys my Tokyo experience! I shall do that soon!!!) is this leather necklace with tassels and feathers. Guess where?! H&M, of course! I just noticed, I never fail to get accessories from H&M wherever I may be! Why not?! They’ve got really stylish and affordable pieces! I love H&M! I wish they’ll finally land here in Manila!!! 😀 Oh, and as for the price? It’s only JPY 1,290 or about PHP 680 when converted. 😀
