Peplum tops/blouses and skirts are everywhere. While it’s really pretty and dainty, it can be just like any other trends that come and go. If you’re digging it but you’re on a tight budget, hold on any purchases first! You might want to search inside your (or your mom’s) closet. Why not turn an ordinary blouse into a peplum top? Here’s how…
I’m wearing a vintage blouse that hasn’t been worn since… forever! It’s not even mine. In fact, I’m not even sure if it’s my sister’s or my mom’s. What I can remember is I’ve seen this top when I was a kid. I just saw this again when I was cleaning up at home for a garage sale. I’m here to revive it once again. LOL! 😀
It’s actually big on me so I tried fastening a thin belt around my waist. Well, it’s not too bad to look like a peplum top. Any loose blouse plus a thin belt could work the same way. So, what do you think? 😉
Here are closer shots of the outfit…
Okay, this has nothing to do with the outfit. I just saw this at Bonifacio High Street Central, where I shot all these photos. Loving the contrast here… 🙂
