Facial Care Celebrates 30 Years

A great way to start the month is to be surrounded by beautiful people. Last Monday, I was lucky to get invited to Facial Care’s 30th Anniversary at Manila Peninsula. It was definitely a “GO”! It’s one of the brands I trust with my skin, especially my mom who has been a loyal client. I have received questions on where I do my monthly skincare. For diamond peel and laser tone, I go to Facial Care to minimize pores, even out skin tone, and to keep it smooth. This is also where I had my laser light hair removal several years ago. Being in the business for 30 years, my mom, sister and I really trust the brand. And to celebrate its 30 years in the beauty industry, Facial Care endorsers, Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo, Patty Betita, Cherie Gil, Amina Aranaz-Alunan, Amanda Griffin-Jacob, Giselle Tongi-Walters, Bianca Araneta-Elizalde, Shalani Soledad-Romulo and Delamar Arias graced the event.

To commemorate this momentous event, Facial Care has come up with a BEAUTY calendar that will depict various interpretations of beauty, because nowadays, it comes in various forms. Gone are the days when only a particular kind of beauty is admired. Today, people have different opinions, they revel in uniqueness, freedom of expression and choice. Some go for the classic mestiza look, others for natural Filipina features as their beauty ideals. For some, beauty is in the way women move, carry themselves, or how real and simple they look, any time of day. “We wanted to capture all those in this calendar and what better way to do it than to ask all the endorsers of FCC to pose for it,” explains Irene Dujunco-Stacy, Facial Care Centre’s Group Marketing Manager.
