K-Palette Real Lasting Mega Cute

Recently, K-Palette Philippines launched their latest product- K-Palette Real Lasting Mega Cute. Those with monolids, it’s time to rejoice! There’s no need to go through under the knife to get double eyelids or bigger eyes. More details and demonstration later on.

The event, D. Eye. Y., was held at Geisha Restaurant, BGC Fort. Cute crafty activities were prepared for us, like Furoshiki and Art Stamp.

Furoshiki is a type of Japanese wrapping cloth. We were asked to wrap our own press kits. 😀

After which, it’s time to be artsy in this art stamp corner. 😀

Just a few minutes after, Ms. Cheryl Tan Chua of Beauty Box, the official distributor of K-Palette in the Philippines, welcomed everyone.

Mr. Eiji Kinoshita, CEO of K-Palette, was also present during the event.

Ms. Rina Ogata, K-Palette’s Makeup Artist, did a quick makeup demo.

A fresh day makeup was done by Ms. Ogata. She used colors that could help the model’s eyes appear bigger.

Now, the star of the afternoon: K-Palette Real Lasting Mega Cute. There are 2 variants, the tape (orange) and the glue (pink).

The tape type variant (left) has a thicker brush, while the glue type (right) has a thinner brush. Both comes with a Y-shaped stick, which is used to press the lid to create the “fold”.

The left eye was applied with glue type. It’s advisable to use the glue type for those with monolids. Oh, and the glue variant can also double as an eyelash glue! 😀

How to use K-Palette Real Lasting Mega Cute Glue Type:

• Wipe off oil and dirt on your lids.
• Using the Y-shape end of the pusher, check the line you want to create for your double eyelid and apply a line of glue there.
• Keep your eye half closed for 30 seconds while waiting for the glue to become transparent. Then, push again with the Y-shaped end of the pusher to “glue” your double eyelid.
• Fix the shape of your double lid using the I-shaped end of the pusher.

Ms. Ogata then applied K-Palette Real Lasting Mega Cute tape variant on her right lid. The tape type works better for those with existing double lids but want bigger eyes and lifting effect.

How to use K-Palette Real Lasting Mega Cute Tape Type:

• Wipe off oil and dirt on your lids.
• Using the Y-shape end of the pusher, check the line you want to create for your double eyelid and apply 3-5mm width of glue below it. For a natural line, apply a half-moon shape of the product right above the lash line.
• Keep your eye half closed for 30 seconds while waiting for the glue to become transparent. Then, push again with the Y-shaped end of the pusher to settle in the tape glue. Reapply if you want it to be more stiff.
• Fix the shape of your double lid using the I-shaped end of the pusher.

During the event, they also shared the newest makeup trend in Japan. Mizuho Hakayama, the eye model for the packaging of Real Lasting Mega Cute, sported the trendy makeup. Eyeliner is used to draw shapes at the corners of the eyes. She was also wearing the high blush trend. I’ve seen these when I was in Japan. I actually find them cute. I guess I’ll try that eyeliner trick. As for the high blush trend, I’ll save that for next time (probably when I’m back in Japan). I’ll need more confidence sporting it here in Manila. 😀
