If you’ve been following me on Instagram (@lush_angel), Twitter (@lush_angel), or my Facebook page (lushangelblog), you’ve probably seen some photos of my Bacolod trip with my Smart family. It was my first time in this beautiful city. And what’s the best time to visit if you’re into parties and the festive vibe? The famous Masskara Festival, of course! 😀 Smart made it an unforgettable festival with all their parties around the city, like the Masskara Lovedance, Masskara Invasion, and Maskaraland. Anyway, I’ll share more about the trip in my next post. For now, let me start my #SmartMasskara experience with an OOTD.
A trip to Bacolod won’t be complete without visiting The Ruins, a famous tourist spot in Talisay City. Just a quick background, The Ruins is actually ruins of an old mansion owned by Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson. It was destroyed during World War II and was just restored, which is the structure we now see. Every corner is really picturesque, so an #OOTD is a must! I’m happy to be with fashion bloggers since we all took our time taking photos. Hehe! Thanks to Alyssa Lapid for being so patient in taking my photos. 😉
Since I expected it to be hot and I wanted to be comfortable all throughout the trip, I only brought various shorts and tops. This look has that summer feel – bright top paired with crochet shorts and colored sling bag. I brought with me my trusty Birks, which I ended up wearing everyday during the trip. Well, I needed a comfortable footwear with all the walking. 😉
I love bringing my Veloci watch when I travel. I only need to bring one watch and simply change the straps to match my outfit.
More Bacolod posts coming up next! 😀
