Last week, I was back in Baguio. If you noticed my Instagram (@lush_angel), I love going here. One of the main reasons is the weather. It’s a perfect place to just chill and relax. There’s really nothing much to do but to eat, eat, and eat. Well, that’s what vacations should be made of. 😀
It wasn’t that cold in the afternoon, which explains what I’m wearing. The sun was too hot to notice the cool weather, although it got really cold at night that I had to change to jeans and cover myself with a warm jacket.
I went for something basic again – black and grey. You’ll never go wrong with this color combo, just like black and white.
To add fun to the look, I wore this slip-ons from Flossy. The design reminds me of my craving to hit the beach really soon. Flossy has been my fave weekend footwear ever since I got my first pair. It’s even more comfortable than wearing flip flops! As mentioned in THIS OOTD post, Flossy is a perfect travel companion! 😀
My friends and I decided to do something new – that is to visit Sitio La Presa. Haha! If you’re familiar with one of the famous soap operas in ABS CBN, this is where they shoot some (or most) of their episodes. Sitio La Presa is not even the real name of this place. This was the name used in that show and everyone just got used to it. It’s about 30-45 minutes away from the town proper of Baguio. Since it is now a tourist attraction, you’d expect to pay for everything – parking, entrance fee to the house, etc. Although it’s nice that the town has a new source of income, it can also be a turn-off to some.
The way to and from the parking area was a challenge. I wasn’t informed that I was going to do some trekking. Haha! Okay, that was an exaggeration, but it was really a challenge. It was definitely tiring, yet it was worth it.
Of course, Baguio won’t be complete without the fog. We had to stop on our way back just to capture it. Haha!
