In case you haven’t noticed, cropped tops and denims are my current favorites. Let me enjoy this phase for a while before I go back to my basics. Haha!

Probably my favorite styling of cropped top is pairing it with trousers. Maybe because I already find the top too bare so I feel the need to cover my legs. (There goes my conservative side!) We always want to achieve balance in any look. Agree?

Going back to my outfit, notice how stress-free I look when I’m not carrying a huge heavy bag. Haha! My love for purses started with BIG bags– emphasis on ‘big’ since I always feel the need to bring everything. For the past year or so, I learned to love small or crossbody bags especially when I travel– I can walk faster, I can move around more freely, and I can take better photos. Here is one small purse with adjustable strap (to easily make it a shoulder bag or a crossbody bag) from the Hedgren Fall 2018 Collection.
Leather is usually my first choice when it comes to bags. My recent purchases though include nylon and canvas materials probably because I realized how lighter and more convenient they are especially for long walks. Now I can already foresee that this bag will be used and abused.

Hedgren Fall 2018 Collection
Hedgren is one of the few brands that have successfully combined function and style in their bags. Recently, I got a sneak peek of their Fall 2018 Collection and I was surprised how fashionable the bags are. Nope, I promise… it’s not because I’m becoming a “tita”. I would like to believe that style-wise I’m not yet there. LOL! Kidding aside, I’m liking A LOT from this collection! Let me share some of the bags that caught my attention…

As seen above, the palette is perfect for fall. They have the basic colors, at the same time, they have colored bags that aren’t too bright nor too muted.
If you’re into prints, they collaborated with an Italian design house to create the highlight for Fall 2018’s Prisma Collection, the Pink Jungle. This is to celebrate Hedgren’s 25th year as well.
I have 3 ultimate favorites from Hedgren Fall 2018 Collection. Sorry, I can’t just choose one since each bag has different uses for me.
First is this Paragon Backpack. This is for days when I have to bring a lot of stuff but I need my hands to be free. This is especially great for travelling.
Next is the Attraction crossbody bag. It has 2 zipper compartments plus another one in front, so it’s what I call the “magic bag.” It’s small, yet I can put a lot of things inside.
Last, but not the least, is my ultimate ultimate favorite of all– the bucket bag! I don’t know why, but I don’t own any bucket bag (and yes, I just realized it when I saw this!) What’s wrong with me?! LOL! But isn’t it a perfect everyday bag?
I told you the collection is pretty! I love how Hedgren was able to marry both function and style, catering to today’s modern women and living up to their on-the-go lifestyles.
