Yesterday, I went to the 2009 Travel Tour Expo at the SMX Convention Center. OMG! It’s sooo worth it! I have never been to a Travel Tour Expo before since we are just used to calling our dependable travel agency to arrange everything for us. But when I knew about this last Friday, I thought of looking what’s in there. At first, I expected a lot of promos. Well, there are but I think discounts are not that big as I have expected. Especially on Europe tours, discounts are minimal. Though it is very, very convenient since everything is already there! No need to call different travel agencies to quote for tour packages. All their itineraries are placed on top of their tables and all you have to do is get everything you need! Take a look at SOME brochures that I was able to grab. Hehehe!
Oh, for those companies offering promos there, slots run out easily especially for domestic travels. There are available packages going to Boracay, Bohol, Palau, and many more. Too bad I already paid for my vacation to Boracay last Friday, but I think the 5 days and 4 nights stay I got is already cheap. Well, I didn’t actually look around for domestic travels. I don’t wanna feel bad if ever I found something cheaper. LOL! But anyways, for those planning for a vacation this summer, Travel Tour Expo 2009 is a must place to visit today! Yup, TODAY since today is the last day. I’m actually going there again. Hehehe! They usually have more promos on their last day. *wink*
WHAT: 16th Travel Tour Expo 2009
WHERE: Halls 2 – 4 SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex
WHEN: February 6 – 8, 2009 (10:00 am to 8:00 pm)
Hi! My friends and I are currently looking for a resort/package in boracay. Would you mind saying what resort you got that is cheap for 5 days and 4 nights?
Hi Kristy! Me and my friends will be staying at Island Nook. You can read my posts about it here: http://lushangel.com/2009/02/06/boracay-lodging/
Their rates are pretty cheap. The premier room is good for 4 people already. I personally suggest Island Nook. You can probably find cheaper rooms in the island, but I find the rooms of Island Nook very relaxing. Really worth the money! 🙂
As for our airline, we booked our flights at Zest Air. Rates are usually cheaper if you leave on weekdays since weekends are Boracay’s peaks. You can also try PAL express and Cebu Pacific. You might be lucky to get cheap flights. The airfares really depend on the dates of travel. 🙂
