GlamBox Workshop + Pro 5000 Series Airbrush Kit Launch

When I received an invite from GlamBox for an Airbrush Workshop, I got really excited! Who wouldn’t?! Airbrush makeup is the next generation of makeup. Once developed solely for the TV and film industry to hide skin flaws under dramatic lighting or new technologies like HDTV (High Definition TV), airbrush is ahead of traditional makeup in terms of both effective coverage and feel.

Since airbrush makeup is sprayed on as fine mist over the skin, it produces a natural flawless complexion. It doesn’t rub into the skin or emphasize pores and it allows the skin to breathe through its light texture.

In the past, airbrush systems have been expensive, complicated and hard to find. Now, GlamBox introduces Airbrush Kits for everyday and for professional use.

The event was held at Mango Tree Bistro. Thank God the weather was cooperative that day! 😀 Just after a few chit-chats, we were all introduced to Noi Subade, formerly from Bobbi Brown Singapore. He conducted the demo that afternoon.

Marge modeled for the bronzey look. Noi started off by cleaning her face and concealing her under eye. She has very nice skin so there’s not much to conceal actually! 🙂

After applying concealer, it’s airbrush time! Noi mixed foundations to achieve the exact shade of Marge. To test the color, you can pat on the airbrush foundation on one side of the face, just like a normal liquid foundation.

Unlike their original airbrush kit, the new GlamBox Pro 5000 Airbrush Kit has adjustable PSI (pounds per square inch), which professional makeup artists would surely love!

Noi included Marge’s neck to make sure her face has the same color as her body.

Airbrush can also be used to apply eyeshadow. Just use the lowest PSI, and you’re ready to start!

The second part of the workshop was the Avante Garde look.

Before the workshop ended, it was time for us to use GlamBox Pro 5000 Airbrush Kit and bring out our creative juices. We were given masks to do our own Avante Garde look.

Here are the finished faces! I did the floral eyes, with my clothes that day as my inspiration. LOL!
