Elizabeth Arden Green Tea is one of the fragrances that has been tested through time. It has been an all time favorite by a lot of ladies out there. Even their seasonal fragrances, like the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Cherry Blossom, sell out like pancakes. Now, another new scent joins the Green Tea family of fragrances, Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Honeysuckle.
From its packaging, you can already see what this scent captures- the charming and exuberant floral scent of wild honeysuckle bathed in sunlight. It can bring back childhood memories of you sipping sweet nectar from honeysuckle blossoms. Who didn’t go through that stage?! We are just so curious about almost everything and that’s what I love being a kid! 😀
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Honeysuckle is inspired by the crisp and fresh honeysuckle mountain air of the northern region of the Alps. The sweet nectar of the blossoms, along with a touch of jasmine and ylang ylang, give way to the original Green Tea notes which are enlivened with bright bursts of ripe orchard fruits – resulting in a fragrance that blooms with youthful femininity.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Honeysuckle top notes are Sparkling Lemon, Tangerine, Boysenberry Blossom, Green Tea Vapors. The heart is composed of Wild Honeysuckle, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Tunisian Neroli and Green Tea Leaves, while Soft Musk, Sweet Summer Peach, Nectar Accord, Ambrette Seed and White Birch make up its base notes.
“For me, the honeysuckle is sheer exuberance in a perfume. When I smell it, I immediately think of the long welcomed spring and celebration of summer yet to come,” explains Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Perfumer, Givaudan. “I was also inspired by the extremely rich and decorative Art Nouveau floral prints. Their repeating patterns that weave flowers, leaves, birds and butterflies evoke nature and the honeysuckle vine.”
