OOTD: Unusual Mix

Lace dress, plaid long sleeves and high top sneakers are probably an unusual mix, but I think it worked pretty well in this look. What do you think?

A little black dress with lace detail (that’s supposedly for a glam night) can be dressed down by tying a plaid top around the waist and pairing it with high top sneakers.

I wore this at Mango’s fashion show, themed #MangoRockItUp. I’ve been enjoying the waist tie trend, as you can see in my OOTD: Trendspotting post. This time, I chose a plaid long sleeves top as contrast to my black dress. Plaid can also give that casual vibe, which is what I was aiming for.

I also wore high top sneakers from World Balance. I’ve been searching for leather sneakers ever since I can’t remember. Thankfully I waited and found this. It can be worn in different ways, which I love! 😀

I can fold the top portion to reveal this fun polka print.
