Last November 4, Benefit Cosmetics, being the world’s leading brow authority, launched Bling Brow, perfect for ladies who want to add some WOW to their brows.
Le Jardin was turned into a Beauty & Brows party with beauty bars for a complimentary brow waxing and makeup services.
Okay, so this was really perfect timing since I was trying to grow out my brows for weeks to have it reshaped. I do this from time to time and it makes me feel really uneasy. It’s like weeks of sacrifice for me and it annoys me big time! I try not to look at myself in the mirror just so I won’t have the urge to tweeze my brows. But having it reshaped again is the best feeling in this world!!! LOL! I’m pretty sure most of the brow-loving ladies out there would understand. 😉
Plus, there’s now a final touch to make brows even more flattering! Benefit Bling Brow is made with Swarovski Crystal elements that come in eight shades. If you were to ask me before trying this out, I wouldn’t have imagined to put jewels on my brows (unless it’s for costume purposes). But when I tried it on, aside from the irresistible sparkle it gives, it can frame the face even more, which makes it flattering. I say, it’s the perfect bling to wear, especially this Christmas season! 😀
Jared Bailey, Benefit Cosmetics’ International Spokesperson for Global Services and a global brow expert, was present during the event. He showed us the proper way to shape the brows and demonstrated three unique looks with the use of Bling Brow. Oh, a tip from Jared, shape and fill-in your brows before you put on the bling!
Bling Brow is already pre-glued so all you have to do is just pick up one and apply using a tweezer. There is a way to apply those crystals to make it look nicer. The crystals come in different sizes. Start with the biggest crystal and apply the smallest one at the end. Then, you just fill-in the gaps with more jewels. Just follow the shape of your brows!

What’s also nice about Bling Brow is you can customize it! You can create your own look, so it’s time to be creative! 😀 Oh, and I’m sure some of you would ask these questions – How long can it last? Are the crystals reusable?
Well, believe it or not, Bling Brow can last for three days! For those who have been readers of my blog, you know how important it is for me to remove my makeup at the end of the day. I used micellar water to remove my makeup, instead of oil-based makeup remover, to make sure my Brow Bling would last longer.
And if you want to re-use the crystals, you can use a lash glue the next time you want to put them on again. 😀
