A few months ago, I shared here in the blog (Jo Malone Launches In Manila + Prices) that Jo Malone London will be coming to the Philippines soon. The long wait is over! Last October 9, 2015, Jo Malone London finally opened its first boutique in Greenbelt 5.
Of course, I couldn’t miss the chance to be one of the firsts to experience British luxury. This lady is a little too excited that I was there a few minutes before Jo Malone fans flocked the opening. I was able to take photos around while there were not much people yet. As you can see, Jo Malone will always be picture-worthy. Simple, yet elegant.
I was able to try out different combination of scents at the Discover Bar, which is also available inside the store. If you ask me, Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne has long been my favorite.
There was also a special box illustration service, which was exclusively offered to the VIP guests, press and influencers who purchased only during the opening day. Usually, Jo Malone box illustrations have the iconic places in London. But for this special occasion, two of the top local illustrators, Soleil Ignacio and Abbey Sy, offered their craft and let us choose from two significant local symbols, namely the vinta boat and the nipa hut. Each iconic cream and black box was beautifully hand painted with these images – a simple service for a memorable keepsake. I chose the nipa hut, which is now displayed in my living room. 🙂
