Now, let’s talk about the camera since most likely you’re looking at ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite because you love taking photos — or more of, taking selfies or wefies. It has a 13 megapixel rear camera. As for the front camera, it is 13 megapixel too. What makes it unique is it already has Softlight LED flash, which delivers the perfect amount of fill light, giving selfies a softer look with true skin tones and a glowing complexion. No need for a separate lighting just to get that perfect selfie! It also has live beautification features, such as soften skin, brighten skin, enhance eyes, and thin cheeks.

Aesthetic wise, it’s a winner. It looks like a high-end mobile phone. It’s very light too, considering its size.
When it comes to performance, I did not experience any delays as I switch apps or type.
Now for the camera, the photos taken by the rear camera lack sharpness and color saturation and vibrancy, as seen above. In low light conditions, photos can be grainy as well. Honestly, I’m not too satisfied but of course, photos can easily be improved through editing apps, which are available for free.
As for the front camera, the Softlight LED flash really helps in taking better selfies. The light is not harsh, giving the skin a softer and more flawless look. The skin tone and colors are better with it too. I would suggest taking it easy when using the beautification features though as photos can look “fake” when used too much. For example, when using the skin softening, it’s better to leave texture on your skin to make it look real — well, that’s just my preference. I just find the front camera quite hard to use in low light conditions because of camera delay and motion blur. Just make sure to have steady hands!
