Oh dear, there is just no end to this! Seat sale almost every week! Hehehe! For those who are interested, Philippine Airlines is giving it another shot. This seat sale must be way, way better than the last one. But do you think my bad experience with it, which I shared here, stopped us?! Na-ah! Hehehe! My boyfriend was able to get tickets to the U.S. yesterday! No hassle at all! No lines!Β Very lucky, huh?! Though, if I remember it right, the rates of PAL this time are a bit higher than their previous promo. Still, imagine a roundtrip ticket worth Php 36,264 all-in, what more can you ask for?!
Anyways, I won’t hold you any longer. Here are the rates of Philippine Airlines, which I got from their website. Take note that the prices below are inclusive of surcharges and exclusive of government taxes and other airport fees. This seat sale started yesterday, June 1, and it will run up to June 5, 2009 so you guys definitely have time to think this over. Hehehe! π Travel period is from September 1 to December 25, 2009 for transpacific, while July 1 to November 30, 2009 for regional.
Although this is cheap, I think the last promo was cheaper. So they extended their deadlines from something crazy like 2 days (before) to 5 days. Ive also had the same experience with the last promo, however, it was not as bad as 600 people in front of me at the ticketing office. Hehe.
Oops. My mistake. Ive just computed it. This one’s cheaper. Hehe. π
Really? One of my friends got a plane ticket to San Francisco during the last promo and she got it for approximately Php 25,000 only all in. The ticket we got yesterday to L.A. is around Php 36,000. Hmmm… I need to double check with my friend. Hehehe π
Oh so it’s exclusive of taxes. Hmm.. I may be wrong again. hehe. π Anyway, i have a travel question. A pretty lame one so forgive me for asking. Hehe. π I’m about to renew my US visa sometime. I’m also planning to have a tatoo. hehe. My friend warned me that having a tatoo might affect the approval of my visa. Is it true?
Yup, the rates above are exclusive of government taxes. Anyway, regarding your question, as far as I know, there is no physical examination or any forms wherein you are asked if you have any tatoo. Hehehe! π I renewed my U.S. visa last year and based on the process I went through, I don’t think having a tatoo would affect your application. As for the interview, there are several windows conducting the interview and once your name is called, you just need to stand in front of the counter then answer the questions directly. Just to give you an idea, the counters look like the one you can see in our LTO’s or most school registrars (the one with the window with a small circle opening in the middle) so I don’t think they’ll see your tatoo unless you put it on your face. Hehehe! π This was the process last year, I’m not so sure though if they recently changed any guidelines on visa approval, which I doubt. π
Okay. Thanks a lot. π
