My New Baby from Hong Kong…

After getting my Chanel flap bag and Louis Vuitton Trevi last March, I promised myself that I’ll only get my new baby if and only if I will go back to Europe. Well, I knew that was a long shot because I thought I wouldn’t be going back to Europe anytime soon. Anyway, I wanted to test my self-control, which I know, will most likely fail. Hahaha! 🙂 Well, true enough, when I went back to Hong Kong last August, I was ready to spend to bring home a new baby. Guilty of having a low EQ! Hahaha! 🙂

I went inside every Chanel, Balenciaga and Prada boutiques I saw in Hong Kong and Macau. In the end, I brought home this new baby…

Hmmm… You thought it’s a bag from a designer brand eh??? Hehehe! 🙂 Well, I didn’t mean to fool you. I actually find it a bit expensive. This body bag is from H&M and it’s priced at HKD 799 or approximately almost Php 5,000. But but but, who wouldn’t get tempted if you see this…

Yay! I got it at 70% off! Now that’s sweet! 🙂 Well, I don’t buy anything and everything that I see on sale. Hello?! I’m no billionaire! If I am, I’m probably traveling every single day and not stuck in the office. Hehehe! 🙂 I got this H&M body bag for several reasons. First, it’s blue. I only have few blue bags, and I think not even one of them is leather, which makes that my second reason, by the way. I like it’s kind of leather. It’s not the cheap ones that cracks easily when stored for a long time. It’s the expensive and classy kind of leather. 🙂 Third, it’s a messnger bag. I don’t have any blue body bag, which gives this baby plus points. Fourth, the shade of blue is perfect. I like its “navy-ness” (what a term!). Hehehe! Fifth, the braided strap makes it unique compared to other messenger bags. That strap definitely makes a statement! Hahaha! Last but not the least, again… it’s 70% off, making it only HKD 240,or approximately Php 1,500. It’s not surprising that it is the last one on the rack! 🙂 My tendency when I see such, I grab it right away! Hehehe! In fact, when I got it, the girls beside me stared at me and asked the sales person behind me if they still have stocks! Hehehe! Finders keepers!!! 🙂

Anyways, this cutesy H&M messenger bag may not be as expensive as the designer purses I’ve been dreaming of almost every night, but it’s as stylish, classy and functional as those luxuries. See, I’m not a total snob when it comes to less expensive bags. A true bag lover sees beauty in every bag, whether it’s a Chanel or a purse from a bazaar. 🙂
