If you’re following me on Instagram (lush_angel), Twitter (@lush_angel), or Facebook (facebook.com/lushangelblog), you’ve probably seen my new personalized lipstick from Estee Lauder. Oh dear, isn’t it so pretty… and cool?!?! 😀
I dropped by Estee Lauder’s pop-up store in Greenbelt 5 to try out this newest service.
Of course, their all-time favorites and the holiday 2014 collection are displayed in their store.
Christmas is definitely in the air when we start to see holiday gift sets, right?! And honestly, I love them so much that I tend to buy for myself. LOL! Well, gift sets are such a steal! You get all the must-haves at a cheaper price. Oh, and most of them are limited ed too. I’m sure beauty enthusiasts like me would understand. 😉
And of course, the highlight of my visit was their Make It Personal service. Don’t you appreciate it more when a gift is personalized? I do! Being the receiver, I feel it’s more thoughtful. I see the effort that was put into it. Although I only write the name on the gift cards, I make sure my gifts are personalized in a way. I really think of what to give for each person on my list. I don’t just buy in bulk. I make sure the gift would suit him/her.
But why not make it even more personal this year?! For our family and friends who love makeup, why not give them their fave shade of lippie and put their name on it! 😉
It’s a FREE service of Estee Lauder whenever you buy a Pure Color Lipstick (PHP 1,400 each). You can have a name, initials or even a personal message engraved on the gold cap of the Pure Color lipstick.
Here’s how they do it.
First, enter the name.
Next, put the lipstick on the special template of the Pure Color Lipstick.
Then, you can already see the machine engraving on the lipstick’s cap.
In a matter of seconds, it’s done! 😀
Well, because I was so amazed with this hi-tech machine (LOL!), I requested for another round. On the other side of the cap, I had “Lush Angel” engraved. For those who will avail of this service, a maximum of 8 characters will nicely fit the golden cap.
Estee Lauder is also offering a free 3 Minute Beauty service. You can choose from Instant Glow/Instant Matte, Fatigue Fighter, Modern Wing, Highlight and Contour, Lip Shape-Up, and XO Spots.
Since it was already midday and I was a bit oily, I tried out the Instant Matte service. These 4 products were used to refresh my makeup that day – Matte Perfecting Primer, Invisible Fluid Makeup, Blush, and my favorite Advanced Night Repair.
First step was to blot my oilies. Next is to apply the foundation on top of my makeup. Yup, you read that right. My makeup wasn’t removed anymore- that’s how nice the Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup foundation is! The primer and the foundation were mixed, then buffed on my skin. My photo below does not do justice how my skin looked in person. It was really flawless and it looked like skin even if it was applied on top of my powder foundation! And it wasn’t really matte. My skin looked healthy, not the dry kind of matte. Oh dear, right after the application I already knew how much I needed this combo in my life! Haha! It’s exactly what my oily skin needs! 😀
Also, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair was mixed with the powder blush to give me that glowing skin. I really love Estee Lauder’s makeup techniques. They mix makeup with skincare and they turn out to be perfect! I posted a few articles on Estee Lauder’s Makeup Tips and Tricks. Here I am at the end of the day without any touch-ups. I’m also wearing Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Fuchsia Fever here. Check out my review of Pure Color Lipstick in THIS POST.
My makeup didn’t cake. My oilies controlled. My skin still looked fresh at the end of the day. Okay, that Matte Perfecting Primer and Invisible Fluid Makeup combo is such a winner! 😀
Estee Lauder Make It Personal service is complimentary with every purchase of any shade of the Pure Color Lipstick line (PHP 1,400 each).
