It has been a while since I last posted an OOTD. Sorry about that! Anyway, here is what I wore when I watched Sound of Music with the MAC team. (In cased you missed, you can check my previous makeup tutorial on how to do Maria’s Natural Glowing Makeup HERE)
What do you usually wear when you go to the theater? Personally, I prefer dressing up. In fact, it is really part of the etiquette to wear a cocktail or formal dress, especially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances. On weeknights, cocktail dress or business attire would do. Matinee performances are more casual — but I would still avoid wearing jeans. And of course, if you are lucky enough to watch on opening night, expect a red carpet.
When I watched The Sound of Music, I had to go to the mall first to attend an event. To make sure I won’t be too overdressed as I walk around the mall and under dressed for theater, I opted for a stylish long black skirt and a bodysuit. And since I’ll be out the whole day, I went for my trusty slip on sandals with block heels.
To give more “life” to the entire look, I wore a pair of statement earrings.
