Budget Smartphone: BlackBerry Curve 8520
It has been a while since I last posted anything about gadgets. Well, obviously ‘coz I had to stop from blogging for a while. I’m going insane with my frantic schedule already! Hehehe! Anyway, one of the latest gadgets I got before the start of the new year is this new BlackBerry Curve 8520 also known as Gemini. I have been planning to get a BlackBerry since last year. Well, I was choosing between an iPhone and a BlackBerry. The iPhone should have been perfect fit for me since I have already switched to Mac and ‘Once you go Mac, There’s NO turning Back!’ 
So I wanted my gadgets to be all out Apple. Wehehehe! I had to ditch the iPhone though since I usually have long nails and it’s merely impossible for me to use it. It’s ultra sensitive keypad only responds to the human ‘touch’ and won’t work with any stylus or in my case, my glimmering nails. Hahaha! I tried to give it a go but I really had a hard time typing. I usually press on the wrong letters! Definitely, the iPhone is not for me and so BlackBerry it is!
If you ask me why this BlackBerry is a must buy, it’s the unbelievable cheap price! BlackBerry phones are usually Php 20,000 and up. It is surprising that BlackBerry released an affordable version. This was only about Php 15,000 in Globe Telecom. I think they are now selling it for Php 16,000 with the Prepaid kit, still cheap for a QWERTY phone and for a BlackBerry, of course. Nokia 5130 XpressMusic Review
A few weeks ago, it was a gadget shopping weekend for me and Arthur. Arthur needed to get rid of his old cellphone and buy a new one. I’m so pissed whenever I try using his cellphone. Most of you probably know the problem with the navi key of Sony Ericsson. Well, for those who don’t, some models of Sony Ericsson uses joysticks as navigator. Yes, it is cool, but as time passes by, dirt starts to build up in its corners. Result? You can’t navigate your phone properly! It’s so damn annoying! Arthur tried to have it fixed, but in 3 months you just can’t navigate again! So for those who have Sony Ericsson with that joystick thing, ditch your phone right away if you start to encounter problems navigating. Yes, it’s that annoying!

When I saw the video below, I was impressed. It’s not in english though. Hehehe! But you’ll kinda understand… LOL! Oh, and part of the video shows the Nikon D300s all wet. Geeesh! I sure did the same thing with my D90. Yikes! Now I realized I should really be thankful that it’s still working! Hahaha!

Are You In for a Premier Designer Laptop Case?
Since I’m so madly deeply in-love with my new MacBook Pro, I’ve been hunting for a laptop case ever since I bought it. And since like what I said here, the aluminum MacBook Pro is kinda scratch magnet, I need a case ASAP! Currently, I’m using the laptop bag given to me by the store for free, but since I’m chic at heart, I like all my stuff to be chic too. I’m actually eyeing for the hard cases especially designed for MacBooks. I just love the colors, specifically the pink and the purple! The moment I got back here in Manila from Hong Kong, I went to a Mac store the very next day to purchase that hard case. Unfortunately, the hard case for the 13-inch MacBook Pro is not available yet. They have it in 13-inch, but only for the regular MacBook, which doesn’t fit well with my Pro because of the openings for the different slots on the sides. Argh! Anyways, since the hard case isn’t available yet, I tried to search over the internet for some fashionable laptop sleeves which I can use for the meantime. And while searching, this is what I saw…
