Don’t be afraid to wear pink makeup – I remember posting about this a couple of months ago. So after trying out pink blushes, are you ready to take a step further? Let’s go all out! I created a makeup look using pink eye shadows and pink lipstick. Wait, before you react, let me show you how it looks…
What do you think? The problem with pink eye shadow is that it has the tendency to make your eyes look tired. To avoid this, the shades of pink I used on my eyes are not so light and bright (Barbie pink). It’s a bit on the darker side with a mix of rose and brown shades. I also tapped a small amount of pink shimmer eye shadow at the center of my lids.
And for the look to stand out, I went for a matte bright pink lippie! If you’re not yet ready to go all out, you can try a subtle version of pink lipstick or go for nude.
Of course, when I say “all out pink”, it still has to be a wearable makeup look. I went for subtle shades of pink for my blush and highlighter.
Here are all the products I used:
Foundation: MAKE UP FOR EVER HD foundation
Concealer: Guerlain concealer
Loose Powder: Etude House Zero Sebum Powder
Blush and Highlighter: Bobbi Brown Cheek Glow Palette (Homecoming Pink blush and Pink Opal illuminator)
Eye shadow: MAC Haux (soft muted rosy brown) and Star Violet (Pinky brown plum)
Eyeliner: Lifeford black eyeliner
Lipstick: MAC Candy Yum Yum
Brows: Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil and Gimme Brow
