WDYM? Beliebers know what I’m talking about for sure. WDYM = What Do You Mean, from Justin Bieber’s song What Do You Mean? Sorry, I just have to be annoying and reiterate.
I’ve always been asked why I layer A LOT of skincare products. The basic steps of skincare that we always hear: 1. Toner 2. Serum 3. Moisturizer. This does not mean we only need to use 3 products though. Not all serums or moisturizers are made the same. They do not just hydrate the skin, which most people think. Serums or moisturizers can also target specific skin problems. This means if you have dry skin, fine lines, dark spots, tired and dull skin, you can layer 4 kinds of serum – hydrating, anti-aging, spot-correcting, and revitalizing. Serums are potent formulas that are targeted for a specific purpose, which explains why I layer a number of products. Today, I’m going to talk about potent superblends and targeted solutions from Bobbi Brown Remedies, which I somehow shared in my 5 Tips to Get Glowing Skin.
Bobbi Brown has been known for its flawless makeup that looks real skin. But let’s face it, to get that perfect flawless makeup, one must have good skin too — which is why Bobbi made sure to have a skincare line. I’ve tried a couple and I must say, they are also good! Here are some reviews I posted, in case you missed them: Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Milk and Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil.
Inspired by Bobbi’s holistic approach to beauty, Bobbi Brown Remedies is a collection of six treatments that target specific complexion concerns to enhance skin’s overall health. An apothecary of skin solutions, Remedies can be used individually or layered with skincare and foundation for fully customized skin solutions. Here are the Bobbi Brown Remedies:
The sea has a special place in my heart. I would love to consider myself an “island girl”, but the reality is I’m stuck in the city 90% of the time. But the sea is where I go to when I want to press the reset button and to instantly lift away my stress and worries. It just gives me pure bliss. Therefore, I am all out support for brands that take good care of our seas – or Mother Earth for that matter.
I was transported to Greece for a day. Too short, I know. But it was definitely fun!
I just realized I haven’t finished my Korea posts… Sorry about that! I can be very forgetful at times (or make that, most of the time)! Anyway, I’ll try to make it up to you guys by sharing my most interesting experience in Korea — a visit to DMZ, the North Korea border.
